Artist Profile

My love affair with clay began when I first laid hands on it almost 40 years ago. Since then I have taught clay technique & other art forms; created functional & decorative works in porcelain, stoneware, & terracotta; explored primitive & alternative firing methods; and researched forming & firing practices in far-flung places like Mexico & Turkey. This blog is about my adventures with clay in Turkey, and in my home studio in Gibsons Landing.
